What comes to mind when you hear the word authentic? Perhaps it is a piece of artwork. Someone would proudly display an authentic work of Leonardo DaVinci. Perhaps you think of something else but, ultimately, for something to be authentic, it must be real. If something is authentic it is not a cheap knockoff or an off-brand, rather it is a genuine product. Something can claim authenticity, but the claim is hollow and worthless if it is not genuine and real.
The same principle applies when it comes to Christians. Jesus warns his disciples in Matthew 7:21 that not all who claim to be authentic Christians do not have a genuine claim. So that begs the question, in this world of copies and fakes how do we live an authentic Christians life? I hope you will join us on March 7th as we explore this topic more and look at what the Bible has to say about living an authentic Christian life.
What to Expect

Two services full of exciting games, soul-stirring singing, and heart moving preaching. The first service starts at 11:00 and the second service starts at 2:00

A Bible quiz and sword drill with bragging rights and prizes to the winners.

A casual setting. There is no need to dress up unless you want to.

We choose to call this event the Recharge because we love the imagery that is involved with the word. While rallies make you think of generating positive feelings and energy (think pep rallies or political rallies), recharge carries the idea of storing energy for a specific use. You recharge your phone every night so that you can make full use of it throughout the next day.
It is our hope and prayer that through a day of fellowship and preaching your teenagers will be recharged and you can see them use that stored energy to be a help to your church, a testimony to their friends, or light to their communities. We pray we can be a blessing to you and your teens as you join us for this year's Recharge.
